JPS Fire & Security Ltd is a Hampshire based installation and service provider to the fire and security industry. Founded in 1994 and drawing on over forty years experience in the fire industry our services are utilised by various customers throughout the southern counties and London area.
We cater to all areas of the industry from smaller domestic systems to commercial & retail and through to large scale industrial systems. Whether a new installation or additions to an existing system JPS Fire & Security has the expertise and equipment to ensure all works are completed in accordance with BS 5839-1:2002.

All of our engineers are Fire Industry Association (FIA) trained for design, maintenance and commissioning with consultants to advanced design level.
The company is proud to have achieved and maintained membership of BAFE SP203 for design, installation, commissioning and maintenance of fire detection and alarm systems through the NSI Silver scheme. We are regularly audited for quality of our works including the installation workmanship, maintenance, internal paperwork and customer service.
Accreditations
BAFE
BAFE is the independent third party registration body for the fire protection industry. The BAFE SP203-1 scheme has been developed for the Third Party Certification of those organisations involved in fire detection and fire alarm systems. The scheme recognises the importance of providing compliant systems while at the same time minimising false alarms. BAFE’s scheme objective is to provide a means by which fire protection system users and regulatory authorities can be confident that the companies providing fire alarm systems have processes in place to effectively undertake such activities within their defined scope of work. The scheme document specifies conditions to be met by certificated organisations, including the requirement that where a company has additional operational offices, each office must meet the standards of SP203-1 to be eligible for certification and is separately listed.

SAFEcontractor is a leading health and safety pre-qualification assessment scheme dedicated to promoting higher standards of competence and compliance through the provision of relevant industry specific and tailored health and safety assessment s for all professions and sectors. Registered members with the SAFEcontrator scheme include clients and contractors from a wide range of professional disciplines working within a number of industry sectors. With its increasing membership and growing profile in the UK, the SAFEcontractor scheme is now used by many large organisations as a way of obtaining competent contractors.
